Product description

Patients and parents often struggle with turning the traditional palate expander screw. This screw is self-activated! No keys to turn, and no "backing up" of the screw in the mouth!

Contains: 1 900g 9 mm screw with arms. 

Instructions: prior to cementing, remove the staple on each side of the appliance. Cement with blue string still attached. Once cement is cured, put finger pressure on expander while pulling string to remove clip. Expansion begins slow and automatically!

    It is a bit stiff; when squeezing the clamp, you feel a lot of tension. It would be better if it were smoother to squeeze.

    good but could be better

    Its definetly a step up from what we were using - but the paper still slightly sticks to the paste causing the paste to slightly pull away from the bracket and create a point when released (but atleast it doesnt fully stick to the paper) so that is a plus. Would love a more nonstick surface of the paper. Would also like if the separators could go a little bit deeper down to be closer to the paper if im being very picky. But overall it will work well for us!
